Itinerary of the tour:

VITIST INDIA

GOLDEN TRIANGLE is one of the most prominent and classical tours of India. It covers a small portion of Northern India. As the name suggest, Golden Triangle, is the foremost choice for the first time visitors of India. The primary attraction of the tour is Taj Mahal at Agra. It is one of the 7 Wonders of the World and also a UNESCO’s world Heritage Site. Taj Mahal is known as symbol of love. In addition to this the tour also covers Amber Fort and City Palace of Jaipur before visiting the Lake City, Udiapur. You would enjoy the boat ride on lovely lake Pichola along with City Palace, Monsoon Palace and many more. Finally the tour would end at Delhi, National Capital, where you would be visiting historical architectural work of Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb and Jama Masjid and modern architecture of Lotus Temple and Akshardam.

Arrival

You will be met by SAV Executive at the Airport. He would greet you and then you will be transferred to the Hotel, where you will check-in and relax. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Delhi.

Day 1 – Delhi - Agra (250 kms/3-4 hour drive)

This morning, after the breakfast at the Hotel, the group will check-out from the Hotel and depart for Agra. Agra is a historical and romantic city of medieval India. On arrival at Agra drive straight to visit Agra Fort. Later after check-in ath the Hotel and lunch, visit Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. In the evening, you will be dropped at the hotel after dinner. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Agra.

Day 2 –Agra – Jaipur (265 kms/5-6 hour drive)

This morning, after breakfast at the Hotel, the group will check-out from the Hotel and depart for Jaipur. En-route to Jaipur the group will visit Fatehpur Sikri, which is at a driving distance of 40 k.m. driving time of 1-1.5 hrs. Fatehpur Sikri was once the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar. On Arrival at Jaipur, check-in at the Hotel and relax. Evening will be at leisure for exploring the local market. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Jaipur.

Day 3 – Jaipur

After Breakfast, this morning, you will proceed on a visit to the ancient capital of the Kachhawaha Rajputs, Amber. Enjoy the Elephant ride up the fort. On the way back from Amber Fort, enjoy a photo-stop at Hawa Mahal – the palace of wind. Later visit the City Palace an apartment housing museums with an array of textiles, costumes, arms, weapons and paintings and finally visit Jantar Mantar, the observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh-II. In the evening make a visit to Chokhi Dhani between 18:00 hrs to 23:00 hrs. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 4 – Jaipur – Udaipur (495 kms/Day drive)

This morning the group will check-out from the Hotel and drive to Udaipur. This will be a day drive to the Lake City, Udaipur. En-route the group will halt for Lunch. On arrival at Udaipur, the group check-in at the Hotel and relax. The vehicle, the group will be travelling in, will drop us you couple of k.ms. before the Hotel. You will be transferred to the Hotel in the auto rickshaw or the hotel cab. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Udaipur.

Day 5 – Udaipur

This morning you will be exploring the City Palace complex, Jagdish Temple, and take the boat ride on Lake Pichola and visit island Palace. In the evening you will visit Bagore ki Haveli and enjoy the local folk dance show of one hour. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Udaipur.

Day 6 – Udaipur

This morning the group will go for a full day excursion to Kumbhalgarh Fort and Ranakpur Temple. In the evening the group will return to Udaipur. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Udaipur.

Day 7 – Udaipur - Delhi (night train)

This morning the group will check-out from the Hotel and spend the day exploring the Lake City further. You go for a cable car ride that would give you an aerial view of the Lake City. Later explore Monsoon Palace (Sajjan Garh) and visit Vintage Car Show. In the evening board the overnight train to Delhi. Night stay will be on board the train to Delhi.

Day 8 - Delhi

This morning on arrival at Delhi railway station you will be transferred to the Hotel. Check-in at the hotel booked from the previous night. After a relaxed morning the tour will start with your visit to Qutub Minar, a historical monument. After lunch you will be visiting Akshardham Temple, a modern day monument. Later in the evening explore the Cannought Place market of Delhi. After dinner, you will be dropped at your Hotel to relax. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Delhi.

Day 9 – Delhi

This morning After Breakfast at the Hotel, the group will be taking a guided city tour of Delhi. The tour would start from Old Delhi which would include the visit to Jama Masjid, India’s biggest Mosque, a ride of cycle rickshaw and drive past Red Fort before heading towards Raj Ghat. Later visit India Gate, drive past important government buildings Post Lunch visit Lotus Temple. Finally after dinner you will be dropped at the Airport for your onward/return journey or at the Hotel who wishes to continue their stay or have a flight next day.
