GOLDEN TRIANGLE is one of the most prominent and classical tours of India. It covers a small portion of Northern India. As the name suggest, Golden Triangle, is the foremost choice for the first time visitors of India. The primary attraction of the tour is Taj Mahal at Agra. It is one of the 7 Wonders of the World and also a UNESCO’s world Heritage Site. Taj Mahal is known as symbol of love. In addition to this the tour also covers Amber Fort and City Palace of Jaipur before visiting historical architectural work of Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb and Jama Masjid and modern architecture of Lotus Temple and Akshardam in Delhi, country’s Capital. Finally the tour would take you to Amritsar where you would be visiting Golden Temple, Wagha Border and Jallianwala Bagh.

Arrival

You will be met by SAV Executive at the Airport. He would greet you and then you will be transferred to the Hotel, where you will check-in and relax. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Delhi.

Day 1 - Delhi

Enjoy a relaxed night after a long flight from your home, have a leisure morning and have a relaxed breakfast. A group meeting will be organised by your tour leader where you will be introduced with your co-passengers and the itinerary will be discussed in detail. After the group meeting, the tour will start with your visit to Qutub Minar, a historical monument. After lunch you will be visiting Akshardham Temple, a modern day monument. In the evening, after dinner, you will be dropped at your Hotel to relax. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Delhi.

Day 2 – Delhi - Agra (250 kms/3-4 hour drive)

This morning, after the breakfast at the Hotel, the group will check-out from the Hotel and depart for Agra. Agra is a historical and romantic city of medieval India. On arrival at Agra drive straight to visit Agra Fort. Later after check-in ath the Hotel and lunch, visit Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. In the evening, you will be dropped at the hotel after dinner. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Agra.

Day 3 –Agra – Jaipur (265 kms/5-6 hour drive)

This morning, after breakfast at the Hotel, the group will check-out from the Hotel and depart for Jaipur. En-route to Jaipur the group will visit Fatehpur Sikri, which is at a driving distance of 40 k.m. driving time of 1-1.5 hrs. Fatehpur Sikri was once the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar. On Arrival at Jaipur, check-in at the Hotel and relax. Evening will be at leisure for exploring the local market. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Jaipur.

Day 4 – Jaipur

After Breakfast, this morning, you will proceed on a visit to the ancient capital of the Kachhawaha Rajputs, Amber. Enjoy the Elephant ride up the fort. On the way back from Amber Fort, enjoy a photo-stop at Hawa Mahal – the palace of wind. Later visit the City Palace an apartment housing museums with an array of textiles, costumes, arms, weapons and paintings and finally visit Jantar Mantar, the observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh-II. In the evening make a visit to Chokhi Dhani between 18:00 hrs to 23:00 hrs. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 5 – Jaipur – Delhi (275 kms/6-7 hour drive)

After breakfast at the Hotel, the group will check-out and will be transferred to Delhi. After a day long drive to Delhi, check-in at the Hotel in Delhi and relax. Evening will be at leisure to explore the famous Cannought Place market of Delhi. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Delhi.

Day 6 – Delhi

This morning After Breakfast at the Hotel, the group will be taking a guided city tour of Delhi. The tour would start from Old Delhi which would include the visit to Jama Masjid, India’s biggest Mosque, a ride of cycle rickshaw and drive past Red Fort before heading towards Raj Ghat. Later visit India Gate, drive past important government buildings Post Lunch visit Lotus Temple. Night Stay will be at the Hotel in Delhi.

Day 7 – Delhi – Amritsar (6 hrs by express Train)

This morning the group will check-out from the Hotel and board the train to Amritsar. Breakfast will be served on the train. On arrival at Amritsar, you will be transferred to the Hotel for check-in. Later you will be transferred to Wagha Border. In the evening the group would return to Amritsar to enjoy the night view of the Golden Temple. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Amritsar.

Day 8 – Amritsar – Delhi (6 hrs by express Train)

This morning check-out from the Hotel, visit Jalian Wala Bagh where hundreds of innocent people were killed by the British Army. In the evening board the train from Amritsar to Delhi. Dinner will be served on board the train. On arrival at Delhi you will be transferred to the Airport or the Hotel as per the further schedule of the traveller.
