Route - Delhi-Bikaner-Jaisalmer-Pokran-Jodhour-Kumbhalgarh-Ranakpur-Udaipur-Ajmer-Pushkar-Jaipur-Delhi - 1 N-Bikaner, 3 N-Jaisalmer, 2 N-Jodhpur, 3 N-Udaipur, 1 N-Pushkar, 1 N-Jaipur

Day 1 - Drive from Delhi - Bikaner

The tour starts from Delhi from your Hotel/Residence/Station. You are picked up by the vehicle and/or by SAV representative. The vehicle departs straight for Bikaner. Its a drive of 450 k.m. and will take an estimated time of 8-10 hrs. depending on the halts taken and traffic conditions. Reach Bikaner in the late evening. After check-in at the Hotel, rest and relax. After dinner go to bed for a comfortable sleep after a day long drive. Night stay at the Hotel in Bikaner.

Day 2 - Bikaner, Drive from Bikaner to Jaisalmer

Today the tour will start with your visit to Karni Mata Temple (The Rat Temple). The temple is famous for the presence of good number of rats within the premises of the temple. It is said and believed and said that if you can spot the white Rat, it will bring you a GOOD FORTUNE. Later proceed to visit Junagarh Fort. Junagarh Fort, built in 1593 A.D. by Raja Rai Singh, is a fort which was unassailable in its time and hence has never been conquered. There after you will visit Bhandeswar Jain Temple, built in 15th century, which is the oldest monument in Bikaner. The temple is decorated with rich mirror work, frescoes and gold leaf paintings. Later after lunch, proceed to Jaisalmer. It is a drive of 6-7 hrs covering a distance of 350 k.m. Check-in at the Hotel. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Jaisalmer.

Day 3 - Jaisalmer

Today you will explore Jaisalmer, the Golden City of Rajasthan. Jaisalmer is most prominantly known for its fort, Golden Fort or Sonar Quila. Viewing the fort at sunrise and/or sunset is a real treat to one's eyes. The tour starts with your visit to the Fort. Later you visit the Government Museum, Patwon-ki-Haveli, Deewan Nathmalji Ki Havali, Deewan Salim Singh Ki Havali (from outside) and Mandir Palace (Badal Mahal). Later in the afternoon take some rest in the Hotel after lunch. In the late afternoon depart for the memorable evening at Sam Sand Dunes, 45 k.m. from Jaisalmer, with Camel Ride. You will enjoy the beautiful sunset from the sand dunes. After sunset, you can either return to Jaisalmer for dinner or you can enjoy the dinner at the dunes with live performance of local folk music. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Jaisalmer.

Day 4 - Jaisalmer

Today you will be visiting the nearby places of Jaisalmer. Before that you will be taken to the Gadsisar Lake for the beautiful view of the fort at sunrise. You will return to the Hotel from the lake and take some rest. Later you will proceed for your visit to Luderwa, 16 k.m. from Jaisalmer. Luderwa is the old capital of Jaisalmer. En-route to Luderwa, you will visit Amar-Sagar, a natural spot developed by Maharawal Amar Singh in the form of reservoir in 1688 A.D. You will also be visiting Kuldhara & Khabha, a mecieval deserted village of Paliwal Community. Their significance is there architectural execllence. Return to the hotel in take rest. In the evening visit the local market at Ganhi Chowk. You may also visit the sunset point from where the sunset view of the Jaisalmer fort is seen best. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Jaisalmer.

Day 5 - Drive from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur, Enroute Pokran

Today you will proceed towards Jodhpur, a drive of 6-7 hrs covering a distance of 300 k.m. En-route to Jodhpur you will visit Pokran Fort. Pokran became famous after the underground nuclear explosion was carried out at Pokran by the then Honorable Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. After your visit to the fort you can enjoy the local market known for its furniture and crafts for interior decoration. The driving time mentioned does not include the halt time at Pokran. On arrival at Jodhopur check-in at the Hotel. You are free to explore the city at your own in the evening. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Jodhpur.

Day 6 - Jodhpur

Jodhpur, known as the Sun City or the Blue City, is the second largest city in the state. Today you will be visiting Umaid Bhawan Palace, built by Maharaja Umaid Singh from 1929 - 1942, hence named after him. The palace is also known as Chittar Palace because of the local chittar sandstone used in it. Later visit Government Bangur Museum. The main attraction of the museum is the Idol of Sukali Mata brought from Auwa. You will also be visiting Mehrangarh Fort - founded by Rao Jodha in 1459, Jaswant Thada - on the way down from the fort, Mandore Garden. Finally in the evening you can explore the local market at Clock Tower. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Jodhpur.

Day 7 - Drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur, Enroute Kumbhalgarh & Ranakpur

Today you will drive to Udaipur, The City of Lakes or the White City. The drive will be of 350 k.m. En-route you will be visiting Kumbhalgarh Fort, 200 k.m. from Jodhpur. It is the second most important citadel after Chittaurgarh in the Mewar region. The fort was built in 15th Century A.D. by Rana Kumbha. Later you will be visiting Ranakpur Jain Temple, known for its beautiful sculpture. The temple is one of the five holy places for the Jain community. The temple is an architectural splendor with 29 halls and 1,444 pillars, all distinctly carved. In the late evening reach Udaipur and check-in at the Hotel. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Udaipur.

Day 8 - Udaipur

Udaipur is a beautiful city which has a number of lakes created by building dams to meet the drinking water and irrigation needs of the city. The most prominant being Lake Pichola. It is an artificial fresh water lake created in the year 1362 A.D. named after the nearby Pichola village. Your tour will start in the morning with your visit to Jagdish Mandir, built by maharana Jagat Singh in 1651, followed by your visit to City Palace. The Palace towers over the Pichola Lake, the construction of which was initiated by Maharana Udai Singh. You will also visit Crystal Gallery, Jag Mandir, Collection of Classic/Vintage Cars. In the evening take a boat ride in Lake Pichola and visit The Lake Palace, located on Jag Niwas island and covers and area of 1.5 hectares. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Udiapur.

Day 9 - Udaipur

Today you will be visiting the areas arround Udaipur. To strat will with you will be visiting Shree Nath Ji at Nathdwara. It literally means gateway to the Lord. On you way back you will visit Eklingji, built in 734 A.D. It is a complex of 108 temples. Later you will be also visting Shilpgram or the Craftman's Village, which comprises of 26 huts in 70 acers of natural surroundings at the foot of Aravalli Hills, Fateh Sagar Lake, Sahelion Ki Bari (Garden of Maidens) and Sajjangarh. In the evening you can explore the local market. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Udaipur.

Day 10 - Drive from Udaipur to Pushkar, Enroute Ajmer

Today you will check-out from the Hotel and drive to Pushkar, a driving distance of 350 k.m. En-route visit the famous Dargah of Khwaja Sahib in Ajmer. It is one of the holiest of Muslim Shrine in the country. On arrival at Pushkar, check-in at the Hotel and relax for some time. Later in the evening visit the Pushkar Lake. It is believed to have been created by the falling of a Lotus from the hand of Lord Brahma. It is said to be as old as the creation itself. You will also be visting Saraswati Temple. Night Stay will be at the Hotel in Pushkar.

Day 11 - Pushkar, Drive from Pushkar to Jaipur

Today you get ready early morning to visit Temple of Lord Brahma, the only temple in the world. The temple was constructed in 14th century. Later visit Savitri Temple, which gives a good panoramic view of the beautiful lake and the city. Later depart for the city of Jaipur. Check-in at the Hotel and later visit City Palace. In the evening visit Chokhi Dhani for a cultural evening. It starts at 18:00 hrs and lasts till 23:00 hrs. The entry fees includes dinnner charges as well. Night stay will be at the Hotel in Jaipur.

Day 12 - Jaipur, Drive from Jaipur to Delhi

Today will be the last day of your tour. You will be visitng Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort and Jantar Mantar. Later you can spend some time in exploring the local market. In the later afternoon, post lunch, you will depart for Delhi, a drive of 5-6 hours in normal traffic condition. It may be extended to 7-8 hrs in adverse traffic. You will be dropped to your destination Hotel/Home/Railway Station in the night.
